Sai says to practice righteousness. SAI BABA word was not like a Royal Order. It was just like a friendly word.

SAI BABA said that everyone should do Vyswa Devam – To offer Rice to fire.

Sai told about Vaishwa deity to Sagunameru Nayak and Sagunmeru Nayak Conversed the same with Shri B V Dev. That day was July 28, 1921.

Afterwards Sagun Meru Nayak also used to talk about many topics with Shri B.V.Narasimha Swamy ji. Vysva Devam was one of the things in it.

Sagun Meru Nayak came to Shirdi in 1912. He was not having any job. He looked after a restaurant afterwards. He used to cook Nyvedyam for SAI BABA and used to offer SAI BABA. Two years passed

One day Sai appeared in dream. “Bring me soft-boiled rice for breakfast,” he ordered. In that dream Sagun Meru Nayak felt that, he was standing near the Dhuni. Next day morning Sagun Meru Nayak has taken cooked soft rice, Papad, and curd to SAI BABA and offered him.

Sagun Meru Nayak used to offer SAI BABA at 7 AM everyday for two years in same pattern

One day Sagun brought rice as usual. “Did you put Ghee on the rice?” asked Sai.

Sagun replied “No”. From now onward “bring the Rice with adding some ghee” Sai ordered.

Sagun Meru Nayak used to bring the Rice with Ghee.  SAI BABA himself offered one or two morsels of Rice with Ghee to Dhuni.‘In future offer this Rice with Ghee to Dhuni first and then the remaining give it to Me’ SAI BABA said Sagun Meru Nayak.

Till SAI BABA’s Maha Samadhi, Sagun Meru Nayak used to offer worship of ‘Vyswa Deva’ (Offering Rice with Ghee to Dhuni first).After the Maha Samadhi of SAI BABA, Sagun Meru Nayak used to take the rice with Ghee first to Masjid and offer first to Dhuni, remaining used to put at the SAI BABA’s photograph and the remaining he used to put in Columba and remaining use to offer to Dogs.

This action shows that SAI BABA observed Vyswa Devam.

At present Vyswa Devam was offered at Shridi Sansthan by Pujari of Sansthan at Dwaraka Mayee in the afternoon.
