History, literature and Inscriptions on stone will tell the story of Aruna Giru Naatha. There may be different too.
SAI BABA has not got the inscriptions on stones, but the writings by the devotees may differ at times.
Arun Girinaatha was a devotee of Kumaraswamy. His writing on Tirugal has occupied a first place in Indian Singers songs.
He used to roam lavishly during his youthful days it was said. Once he was very worried,
one saint has told him that do God’s prayer and get his grace. The advice was given by Arunachaleswara it was told.
Though he seriously prayed the God, as there was no result, he wanted to commit suicide by jumping from the northern tower of temple Arunachaleswara at Tiruvannamalai.
Then Lord Skandha saved him and wrote Six letters on his tongue, you sing my greatness thus get the salvation.
Then there was no limit to singing of Arun Giri Nath’s devotion and devotional writings.
The person who could not tolerate the fame of Arun Giri Nath was a minister in Prodha Devarayalu’s kingdom Sambandhan.
He challenged in a meeting to Arun Giri Nath, to show Matha in the meeting itself. Arun Giri Nath agreed.
He sang a song Devendra Sangavaa Kuppu and prayed the Matha and made her appear in the meeting. In the meeting itself he again sung Atala Sadaa Narada song towards Lord Kumaraswamy.
Swamy! Come in a peacock while dancing.
And while dancing by all the gods and goddesses
Come with the mind of Prodhadeva Raya king to feel happy and dance!
Immediately he gave darshan for a moment and vanished. At another time ProdhaDeva Rayalu has asked Arun Giri Nath to bring Parijat Pushpam from the heaven.
In the temple’s tower he kept his body for protection, Arun Giri Nath has gone to heaven as a Parrot and took the Parijata Pushpam again to tower of Arun Giri.
He has not got his body there. He went to Tiruttani as Parrot to remain as parrot to Lord Subrahmanyeswara Swamy.
The postal department of Government of India has released a memorial stamp in the memory of Arun Giri Nath on 14. 8. 1975.
The entire world was his. He was illusion.
He was Madhava
Skandha! You were him
Bless me says Arun Giri Nathan in his Tippag
