Before SAI BABA come to Shirdi, Janaki Das of Mahanubhava Tradition was staying there.

Mahanubhava Tradition is incorporated from Datta Tradition, people thought.

In Mahanubhava tradition, Datta is not the Roopa of Vishnu. He was actually Maha Vishnu.

While SAI BABA’s life history was written by Hemad Pant the history of Mahanubhava Tradition was written by the disciple of Chakradhara Swamy who flourished the Mahanubhav Tradition Shri Mahim Bhat.

That history was told as Original Poetry Book. That book’s name was Leela Charitra. In that book, many of miracles of Chakradhara Swamy were written.

There were internal meanings to it. SAI BABA was called as Advaiti. Chakradhar Swamy has encouraged Dwaitam.

SAI BABA’s Maha Samadhi was at Shirdi. Chakradhar Swamy’s Maha Samadhi was a place near Mahur called Devagiri Teertha.

The strange thing about here was that there were two cots, one was big one, and another one was small. In Big Cot Lord Dattatreya sleeps, while on small cot Chakradhar Swamy sleeps.

Chakrapani was the main person to this tradition. Chakrapani’s disciple was Govind Prabhu.

In Gujarat a place called Bharuch Haripal Deva was born. Haripal Deva was a gambler.

Once that gambler was in arrears, that gambler has asked his wife for money. She has refused to give too.

Even the gambler has not stopped the habit of gambling.  He has died at his age of 20.

For cremation of the gambler the body has taken.

By the time it was about to burn, Chakrapani had entered the body of the gambler. The dead Haripal Deva has revived again.

But after some time while roaming he has come to Govinda Prabhu.

Lord Govinda recognized the one who came and i deeksha to him. Then he has become Chakradhar.

In the past, Chakradhara himself initiated Govindaswamy (disciple) as Chakrapani . This can be seen in the life of Govinda Bhagavatpadulu.

In the tradition of Mahanubhava of Chakradhar, not only religious matters, but social Matters also took place. Both ladies and gents were same, all are same was visible in his tradition.

Chakradhar Swamy has born on Bhadrapada Shukla Vidiya generally comes in the month of September.

Let us remember Chakradhar Swamy today.
