Yashvantrao Janardhan Galvankar was a very few among who understood the Philosophy of SAIBABA.

Yashvantrao Janardhan Galvankar had written a preface to Pradhan’s Book on October 9th, 1943 and informed many details of SAIBABA. While referring to the Siddhi powers of SAIBABA, Yashwantrao Janardhan Galvankar said that those were just like the Siddhi powers of Jnanadev, but not that kind of Changdev’s Siddhis.

Either SAIBABA or for that matter Jnanadev has shown the miracles for not exhibiting their superiority or power, these were aimed at removing the ignorance and ego from others only.

It was not to display His Power that SAIBABA has lit the lights with water in Shirdi. His message is to say that nobody should lie; untruth takes you far away from God.

SAIBABA’s devotee Rege, was having utmost faith on SAIBABA. Once Rege prepared a Lemon Drink for SAIBABA and presented Him. SAIBABA accepted it. SAIBABA told to Kaka Saheb Dixit who was present there that ‘See Kaka! Taste it how sour is this?’

Kaka tasted it and said in affirmative, that it is sour. Rege also tasted and on tasting it, he has turned pale. For SAIBABA, he prepared the Lemon Drink with utmost care without getting it sour, but the drink getting sour taste astonished Rege.

Then SAIBABA said to Rege that ‘out of fun I did it like that, now both of you taste it again’.

They tasted it. They are unable to believe their eyes and their tongue too.

The Lemon Drink became sweet. This was the miracle done by SAIBABA.

Rege was used to be proud of his  skill for preparation of Lemon Drink, Sai found out it is pampering his ego, that’s why SAIBABA has changed the taste of Lemon Drink to sour and then to Sweet. This Rege was able to understand. Through this miracle, SAIBABA has not allowed the ego to come up in Rege.

Similarly in Dahanu SAIBABA has showed the power to assume any shape of form to B.V.Dev.

To Tharkhad family he has shown his omniscience saying Naivedyam is not offered to him in his house and instructed the Tharkad Family to be attentive in the matters of worship.

Sai Baba and Jnaneswar kind of people take birth   for the welfare of the universe, their only motive is to reform the people and take care of their welfare.
