The father’s name of Shankar Kohijokar was Balwant Kohijokar. Balwant has retired as Mamaltadar.

Once in 1911 December Balwant went to Shirdi. Afterwards he has not gone to Shirdi again.

He was in Shirdi for a week. He got many experiences.

That was evening. it was around 5 pm. At that time SAIBABA was sitting in Dwaraka Mai. All the devotees of SAIBABA were sitting near Him.

At that time Balwant too went to Dwaraka Mai. Suddenly SAIBABA was shouting ‘I could not bear this labour pains’. All were surprised. Those who know SAIBABA felt that some pregnant lady at distant place might be suffering with labour pains that pains were taken by SAIBABA.

SAIBABA told his devotees to go away from Dwaraka Mai. Without uttering a word, all left the Dwaraka Mai. Like this sometime had passed. The first lucky fellow to enter Dwaraka Mai was Balwant Kohijokar. He went inside the Masjid and he could not find SAIBABA on the seat. Instead a little loving kid gave him Darshan.

That little Kid had three heads on him. Balwant recognised that this kid was Lord Dattatreya.

He could not see that vision for more time. Afterwards kafni wearing SAIBABA has given him Darshan. Balwant could understand that SAIBABA Himself was Lord Dattatreya. That one incident was enough for him to get his life blessed.

There might be a question why SAIBABA has given Him Darshan as Lord Datta in the evening, and not during morning or afternoon. According to mythology, Dattatreya was born. In the evening. When Balwant was getting back, Datta Sai said, “You can go anywhere. I will be with you soon.” From that moment onwards whenever any difficulty came, the difficulty could vanished whenever Balwant rememberd Datta SAI.

SAI and Lord Datta were not separate, both were one and same.
