Baba may come in any form

We have seen various stories in Sai Satcharitra that Baba saying that He will give up His life rather than keep up His word.

This statement amply illustrates that once Baba commits Himself to His devotees He will go to any extent to protect the devotee and fulfil His promise.

But what is required is firm faith and total surrender on the part of the devotee and Baba will be there before the Devotee.

Further Baba may come in any form to fulfill His words. Here is one such story Once Damu Anna invited Baba for a meal but aware that Baba would not come personally he requested Baba to send Bala Nevaskar Patil on His behalf.

Baba agreed taking assurance that Bala would not be looked down upon due to his low caste.

Damu Anna prepared sumptuous meal, filled one plate with various items of food, offered to the picture of Baba and called Bala in.

At that point, a black dog walked in and ate from the plate offered to Baba.

Damu Anna waited for it to finish its meal and later all proceeded to eat.

How divine is the commitment of Damu Anna and how privileged were his eyes to see Baba in all forms.
