There were many disciples & sevaks to Gange Maharaj. He was to send Rs. 3000/ to one Jangli Ram Thakur who was staying at Bombay. He was not having anybody nearby.

There was disciple called Vishwanth Vaag only he was nearby. Gadge Maharaj told Vishwanath Vaag that ‘You have to go to Bombay & give Rs. 3000/ to Jangli Ram Thakur. Vishwanath Vaag agreed.

Gadge Maharaj said ‘It was people’s money. I giving you. You have to carefully handover the money. Do not sleep on the way. Otherwise, there would be trouble’.

That night he boarded a passenger train without having none in the compartment going to Bombay with the money.

Train has started. He was having deep sleep. He has put his legs on the seat opposite to him & slept. That’s all. He went to deepest sleep.

He has seen the other side. Gadge Maharaj was sitting there. He felt was it not a dream?  ‘Has sleepiness left you’ asked Gadge Maharaj. ‘Vaag was telling that it was not  sleep, I was dozing only’ Vaag told Gadge Maharaj.

‘If it was your dozing, how was the real sleepiness. I was sitting here when you started dozing’ said Gadge Maharaj. Vaag’s face turned blank.  Vaag felt shamed for not following the words of His Guru Gadge Maharaj in the sleepiness  & telling the lie to Gadge Maharaj.

In 1915 December while going to perform the last rites of his father Bala Ram, his son Govind Mankar went to Shirdi. Before going to Shirdi he met the wife of Atmaram. She wanted to send something to SAIBABA. Nothing was available at her home that time.

She gave the Peda which was already offered to SAIBABA & gave that Peda to Govind Mankar to give it to SAIBABA.

He reached Shirdi with Peda. Govind had a darshan of SAIBABA. He has forgotten to give the Peda to SAIBABA. Again he had the Darshan of SAIBABA in the evening. This time also he has forgotten to give the Peda to SAIBABA.

‘Any one has given any thing to be given to Me’ at last SAIBABA asked Mankar. Govind Mankar said nothing was given by anybody. Then SAIBABA has asked him about the Peda particularly. Then Govind Mankar has remembered that peda & felt shamed & gone to Wada. He brought the Peda & offered to SAIBABA. We can promise if we do it correctly. We have to keep the promise.
