Those who chant my name repetedly, I will protect them always...Sai Baba
Shri Pratti Narayana Rao has written in the 21st Chapter of Shri Sai Satcharitra that ‘Be ready to practice Nine types of Devotion’ (Nava Vidha Bhakti).
The Great Man who practiced it born on Magha Shuddha Dwadasi (Generally comes in the month of February) and has become one in Pannidalwar. His name was Kulaseshara Alwar.
He was born in a family of Chera. He was son of King Dhrudha Vratha. He was a king.
He has donated his kingdom to God. He has written Thirumoli on Lord Shri Rama with 124 Pasurams. Mukundamala was written by this King Poet.
While he was hearing Ramayana there comes the scene where Seetha was taken away. Immediately that king readied his army.
That king was about to enter into sea to go Lanka along with his army. What should be done by either People or the Ministers?
Who tells the King about it? Everyone was doing crying of alarm.
That strange incident was watched by Gods & Goddesses from Heaven.
Rama appeared before the king with Seetha & Lakshmana, and said to him that ‘Oh! Kulashekhara! I brought Seetha after killing Ravana. See her’.
Kulasekhara then served Seetha, Rama and Lakshmana happily. God could come to the earth upon the devotion of a devotee.
Kulashekhara Alwar was treating himself as Devaki. He was worrying over the separation of Lord Krishna.
After the Darshan of Lord Venkateshwara, he used to say ‘Father! If you bless me to be the doorstep of your temple, then I would be serving your feet while crushing myself in the dust of your devotees’ he not only prayed the God,
‘Let me remain as a pillar to your temple. My creation would be blessed if I would be one channel of irrigation of water to the fields’ he used to pray in the slavery to God.
God would not disown the devotees’ dispassionate desire.
As an evidence to this even today too, the doorstep in Lord Venkateswara’s Temple is called as Kulashekharappadi.
On Magha Shuddha Punarvasu star Dwadashee Friday born with the Koustubha’s part, let us pray Kulashekhara Alwar and follow the Mukundamala’s Message.
The Great Mantra is God’s Name only. Surrender, to Narayana with Utmost Devotion. He would only the greatest person.
