On the same lines Thyagaraja acted similarly and got salvation.

For Thyagayya Rama was not only for himself, He begs everyone to make him a Ram’s man.

He used to think Goddess as the sister of Lord Rama. He used to call Kumara Swamy as the son of Rama’s sister.

‘You are always happy with the name of Rama, except you who could know the Rama Taraka Nama’ said Thyagayya about Lord Shankara.

He says to Seetha, Lakshmana, Bharat and others to allow him to worship with them Lord Rama.

He asks Lord Rama to make him as his man. Will that Saketapura Chakravorty Rama not obey the prayer of Thyagayya?

Once the King asked him to come to him to sing, Thyagayya has asked ‘Whether treasure gives happiness? Or Rama’s Treasure gives Happiness’ He refused the king’s invitation carefully.

One of his disciples has presented him the Photo of Seetarama Lakshmana alongwith Kodanda Rama to him he was happy with ‘Did you come walking to rule me Oh Prana Natha’.

Many famous people used to come to see Thyagaraju, used to sing and talk too.

While they were going back he used to sing with his disciples that ‘I would prostate before you, to so many great men’ he used to say vote of thanks to them.

Not only that song, he used to sing in Ekadasa Bhajana ‘Shri Rama, Jaya Rama’. Except these two he never songs again and again.

Thyagaraju wrote many songs in Telugu, those were used mostly by Tamils.

He used to tell about his last stage very firmly and hence he was a man of wisdom.

‘Paramatma Jeevatma’ singing this Thyagayya merged in Lord Rama.

Begaluru Nagaratnamma after spending all her money, she built a temple to Thyagayya in 1925 near Thyagayya’s Samadhi.

Thyagayya in modern style in a simple terms has brought the image of him by great man Nagayya,

Like this Thyagayya who served Lord Rama and several great men who are like Thayagraja, let’s all prostrate before them.

Today was May 4th, As per English Calender 4th May 1767 was Thyagaraja’s birthday.
