SAI BABA appeared as Lord Ram to Dr. Pandit, Madras women Bhajana Samajam.

Singanna loves animals. If he is called for food, he used to bring puppies with him, used to eat with them in his childhood.

If anyone beats puppies, he used to pamper them and offers food in his plate.

He was having such a humanity in his childhood. He would not sleep unless he does Bhajan at Rama Mandir every day.

He used to lament for the darshan of God. At Singarigiri, He got darshan of Lord Narasimha. That happiness was incomparable.

A spinster called Sitamba became Guru to him and initiated Rama Tarakam to him.

In that temple Lord Narasimha became Lord Rama to him. Bhava Samadhi means to get the darshan of favourite God. Maha Bhava Samadhi means one can see God everywhere.

Singari Das once crossing the river Penna, He was chanting Rama Namam along with Tamboora, chirathalu (musical instruments), that time the river is flooded.

He was Chanting the Rama name only, the river was flowing with flood water. The chiratalu, Tampoora and Upper Cloth all gone.

He was not aware of circumstances. It was night.

Fishermen who were there on banks of Penna heard the Chanting of Rama Nama and searched with lights in their boats, and then they saw a sand hill that was not seen any time.

There Singari Das was doing Bhajan while forgetting himself. They took him to the bank of the River Penna.

Could the river Ganges born at the feet of Lord Vishnu, harm the devotee of Lord Rama! Took him safely to bank.

Once Singari Das doing penance at Tirumala in Gogarba Cave. Then a person with loin cloth appeared to him and said that ” Lord Rama will appear to whenever you wanted”. Telling this he vanished.

Not only the appearance of Lord Rama, everything was Rama to him.

He used to perform many Bhajans. He wrote ‘Bhadradri Ramadasu Charitra’ and offered it to Lord Rama.

Shri Pangaloori Veera Raghavudu who wrote life story of Singari Das in 1957 told “The current circulated story of  Ramadas is from that book only( Bhadradri Ramadasu Charitra)”.

After hearing “Kasturi Tilakam Lalata Phalake” verse he went into the state of Samadhi. Another time while serving Rameshwar at Rameshwaram he went into Samadhi State.

Singari Das was born on Jyesta Shudda Ekadashi in 1840. He merged in Lord Rama on Jyesta Shuddha Panchami on 6th June, 1916.

Today is June 6th, Singari Das ji’s Death Anniversary.

Let us remember him and remember Lord Shri Rama Nama.
