One house holder was offering a feast to Brahmins. Accidentally his tiny child has fallen in the rice broth has died.

His wife thought that the feast could be stopped because of this, so, she kept silent and placed the child in her lap, after the completion of feast.

she informed about the accident to her husband. The couple has prayed with all humility to Lord Shri Ram.

Lord Ram has shown pity on them and that child was resurrected. That House Holder was none other than Kancharla Gopanna, who was famed as Bhadrachala Ramadasu.

Today was April 2nd, 2020. Shri Rama Navami. Let us remember Kancharla Gopanna, who made us to have the Darshan of Lord Ram.

What day will be excellent than this day to remember Kancharla Gopanna?

He prayed to Mother Seetadevi to recommend that ‘Lord Ram has got Angry upon me. Please tell him to save me’.

Another time he prayed the Mother Seetadevi ‘Nanu Brovamani Chappave Seethamma Tallee’ (Please tell Lord Ram to save me).

It takes a second to melt the mind that was like a wax. But Mother’s heart was just like butter. It melts in the thought itself in the mind of Kancharla Gopanna.

Bhadrachalam Ramadasu has faith and emotion on Lord Rama.

He used the Nawab’s money for the family of Lord Rama. But without the permission, spending the Government’s Money was a crime.

For that he has to suffer the punishment. He could not tolerate the severity in punishment. The devotee’s wish was to get the God’s words only.

Ramadasu has not written the songs by thinking. His literature was not thoughtful literature. His literature flowered out of his experiences only.

That was the reason why  Ramadasu’s songs would be sung by the devotees.

He used to sing ‘What was the deficiency for us, when Lord Ram was there for us’ (Takkuvemi Manaku, Ramudokkadundu Varaku).

‘I have Got the Taraka Mantramu after requesting. I was blessed my brother’ (Taraka Mantramu Korina Dorikenu, Dhanyada Naitini Ohranna) people sing satisfactorily this song.

‘Your word have became precious like gold. Kodanda Paani’ (Paluke Bangaru Mayenaa,  Kodanda Paanee) was another song that was expressed the worry of Ramadasu over Lord Ram.

‘In what way you would bless me. I cannot swim this sea of worldliness (Ye Teeruna Nanu Daya Choochedavo Inavanshottama Rama, Naa Taramaa Ee Bhavasaagara meedanu Nalina Dalekshana Rama) was another of Ramadasu Song that was sung by Telugu People. It was Telugu’s property.

Let us ever remember Ramadasu who made Lord Ram as our Money Ornament.
