Grandeur of Sadguru! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 11th April.

Parents named their child who was born on Chaitra Shudda Chaturdashi as Madhura Kavi.

Appropriate to his name he used to write and sing songs.

He travelled extensively on pilgrimage and he has become a greatest devotee since the child hood.

He has seen a brightest light while he was at Ayodhya in the sky. He He traveling towards the appearance of it.

That Brightest Light was stopped at Tiruvakkurgoor. He asked a old man there ‘Is there any strange things here?’.

That old man shown him a boy who was there since the last 16 years without opening his eyes and stayed in a trunk of a tamarind tree.

He felt that boy was a great venerable person. That old man made a sound to make him open the eyes.

That boy himself was Nammalwar. Aged 16 years. That boy has first seen on opening the eyes Madhura Kavi.

Then Madhura Kavi asked ‘The Man who was born in Nature, what he will eat to live and in what he lives’. ‘He eats that only and stay there only’ replied Nammalwar. Many questions were asked by Madhura Kavi.

Nammalwar gave good replies. Then Madhura Kavi thought that Nammalwar was his Acharya. The age of Madhura Kavi then was 60 years.

Dakshina Murthy was also a young man. The people came to him for wisdom were all old aged. There was no relation between age and the wisdom.

‘Through your divine grace my Life became blessed. You are my mother, father and you are my Guru, God and everything to me’

Madhura Kavi offered Namaskaram to Nammalwar with tears of happiness from his eyes.

Madhura Kavi used to sing Nammalwar’s Dravida Vedam to uplift the Universe.

Like SAI BABA, for Madhura Kave too his Guru was everything.

Some could not tolerate for Madhura Kavi praising Nammalwar, they challenged Nammalwar to sit at Sankha Peetham.

If that Peetham not make the Nammalwar to fall down, they will believe that Nammalwar was a great man, those persons expressed their opinion to Madhura Kavi.

Nammalwar could not come outside anywhere, instead he would place a Pasuram written by Nammalwar told Madhura Kavi.

The Pasuram written by Namamlwar on one side and the books written by others placed on other side.

The books written by others were fallen and the Pasuram written by Nammalwar has stood there. Everyone praised Nammalwar,

Only 10 Pasurams were written about the Splendour of his Guru by Madhura Kavi. Madhura Kavi has not written any other book.

The Book written about the Splendour of Guru is none other than “Kanninun Shiruttambu” . Madhura Kavi has built a temple to his Guru.

Others praised Vishnu, they have become Alwars. Not praised Vishnu, but praised his Guru, Madhura Kavi has become Alwaruda.

Let us inculcate such a devotion towards our Guru.
