A begging bowl cannot be done! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 1st August.

Nannayya and others have the fortune of translating Mahabharat in Telugu, Potana Maha Bhagavath in Telugu.

But the fortunate to translate total Valmiki Ramayana in to Telugu is Sri Vavilikolanu Subba Rao ji.

Not only that he felt there is necessity of commentary to Ramayana, he has spent daily 20 hours time and wrote in the name of Mandaram.

Andhra Valmiki title was given to him by Ballari Raghava ji and Kavi Sarvabhouma title was given to him by Andhra Vishwa Kala Parishat to that devotee of Lord Ram.

To his devotion to Lord Ram in several forms, he had the darshan of Lord Hanuma, Lakshmana, Seetharam had gave him darshan several times.

Once, while Vasudasa Swami (Vavilikolanu Subbarao) was in another place, two bairags appeared and asked, “What are you doing here? Why don’t you come to Onti Mitta?

He felt the both as Rama Lakshman and reached Ontimitta.

There the elders wanted to make the Temple as Jeernoddarana(Restoration).

Vama Dasu ji made one coconut as begging bowl and went to various villages and begged the money to give it to Jeernaddarana and Golden Crown to Lord Rama and other things he made.

For money collection this begging bowl of coconut was used and praised.

SAI BABA also rebuilt the old temples.

Vama Dasu Swamy by giving him the Teertha and blessed a boy whose legs were dead. the next day itself the Boy started walking. Vamadasu Swamy said that it was the Blessing of Kodanda Rama.

He used to take only Cow Milk only when he was at Markapuram, it was not available there.

One cow could not give milk since the past 15 days. When Vama Dasu Swamy’s name was told to that cow it started giving milk.

Vama Dasu Swamy was there in Markapur and during that entire period that cow has given the milk. Would Rama keep the Atma Ram as hungry?

He has given his own properties to Ontimitta including his writing pen also written to Ontimitta temple as a will, thus he was a great sacrifice.

He merged in Lord Rama on August 1, 1936.

Let us develop the devotion to Lord Rama.
