Hardest Practice! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 7th May.

Hemad Panth has written in Sai Satcharitra that ‘Hardest Practice is required to get permanent article’ and made his Guru to perform hardest practice by SAI BABA.

For example, Hanging SAIBABA, to a tree upside down to a Well. This practice called by Sufis ‘A chilla Ye Makoon.

They did it as a practice. Bhaktiar Kaki has done this to his disciple Fariduddin Ganj, even making arrangements for this also a difficult one. Except a few hours in a day, Farid was involved in God’s prayer by hanging for 40 days.

He was blessed by Bhaktiar Kaki and Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti at the same time.

Once while he was doing prayer parrots used to make a sound of chirping. He has waited for a long time.

The parrots not stopped the sound. ‘You have obstructed to my Prayer. Die’ while a word from Farid’s mouth has come like this, a parrot died on falling on the ground.

Farid got pity on this. ‘This was happened due to my anger only’ he felt and prayed God to revive the parrot by giving her life. Immediately, the parrot has revived and flied.

He used to live as simple as possible. He used to sleep on the floor only. If anyone gives money, he distributed the money to all.

He never approached Rich Men or Kings. He said no to build any Ashramams . Everything would be given by Allah, he used to say.

He never limited to only sayings, but shown on practicing them.

Once he has become very weak. Nizamuddin was walking besides that yogi Farid.

Suddenly Farid thrown his walking stick. Nizamuddin asked him the reason. ‘Instead of relying on Allah, I do not want to rely on this stick’ told Farid Ganj Shakker.

Once he was not having strength and remained like that. Then a crow has come to the tree.

On seeing it Farid told it that ‘You can pierce me anywhere in my body, do not pierce my eyes, I have to see God through them’ he told.

He was a gem in the Tradition of  Chisti. His prayers were there in Punjabi.

116 of his songs took place in Shree Guru Grandha Saheb.

Farid has left his body on May 7th, 1290.

Today is May 7th. Let us remember him with his own words.
