In SAI BABA’s songs Dasaganu was famous;

similarly for Lord Venkateswara’s songs Tallapaka Annamayya was famous.

At the time of Annamayya’s old age, Purandara Das visited him and told that ‘You are direct incarnation of Lord Venkateswara.

Immediately Annamayya told him that ‘To perform Sandhya Vandanam, you made Swamy to bring the water for you, such a luckiest person you were’.

After devoted to Lord Venkateswara, Annamayya has taken a promise to write a song per day, such a dedicated devotee Annamayya is.

Every song is devotional to God only. They appear to be non-dual in nature, promote social equality through them.

He visited many holy places. With God’s Grace he has got command over the language.

The mangoes that were Offered to Lord Venkateswara has got bitter, he has observed it, then asked the Mango tree’s Mangos to be sweet, accordingly the same happened.

One person asked Annamayya for money to perform his daughter’s marriage; He raised as much money as a Maharaja could give.

Annamayya used to wake up Lord Venkateswara from Sleep. ‘Pannagapu Domatera Paikettavelayya (The Mosquito Net of class once lift up) Annamayya requests Lord Venkateswara.

Why because the strangest requests of Annamayya, Lord Venkateswara should listen. Not only scholars, but ordinary man and rural folk also pleased by the songs of Annamayya’s songs.

In the song ‘Vedukundama Venkatagiri Venkateswaruni’  the song would be like a rural folk talking to each other.

In a song Podaganti Podaganti Mimmu Purushottama Lord Venkateswara was praised by Annamayya as Podaganti Podaganti Mimmu Purushottama.

God appears to us as Statue shape, Mantra shape and Yantra shape. ‘Aum Namo Venkatesaya’ was a Siddha Mantra.

Annamacharya has done worship of flowers to the Lord that established at the Hills.
