The one didn’t take wrong path! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 13th June.

Fernando Martins of Pnduva born in 1195. He left his body at the age of his 35-36 years as Anthony. Anthony was glorified as Saint Anthony after leaving his body.

Fernando was a God’s worshipper since his childhood. Once Fernando was preaching at sea shore of Mini town. Not all who were present there are worshippers of Gods. They ridiculed Fernando.

‘You are not fit to hear about the God. I would tell the fishes in sea’, saying this he turned towards the sea.

On listening his words, many fish reached to the seashore. They came to listen his perching. After completing his lecture, he blessed the fish. They again went to sea.

Seeing all this, they got repented and got the belief on God, they listened to Anthony’s preaching.

“Only those ears that listen to Lord Vishnu are the ears” said Prahlada (Vishnu Nakarninchu Veenulu, Veenulu)

The devotees of God would never say no to God’s offerings (Prasadam). The persons who surrounded Anthony need not be Devotees.

One person started abusing the God and his offerings. ‘If you are able to make my Donkey to eat the Offering of God, then I would believe’ said that person.

But Anthony does not want God to enter into this trouble. But if he step backs, then nobody would believe God.

Hence he agreed to that proposal. That person starved the donkey for three days, brought the donkey to Anthony.

People gathered there to see what will happen. The person, who made the donkey starved for three days, brought Green Grass in front of his Donkey.

In Anthony’s hand there was an offering of God, that is Roti. Though hungry, that Donkey did not saw the Green Grass at all, it stood humbly before the Roti bending its head.

It has not eaten the Green Grass though its owner made it fast for three days, it didn’t bite the Green Grass at all.

Every one there would recognise the belief of Anthony on God and the power of God.

All were praising Anthony, but one person could not praise him. He was showed the Glass vessel in his hand and said “I will throw this on Floor, if it is not broken, I believe Anthony”

He threw the Glass in to the floor.  But the Glass didn’t broke. The floor was broken.

SAI BABA used to enhance the peoples belief on God.

Anthony had become Saint Anthony.

In his memory a party would be organised on June 13th. Today is June 13th. Let us remember Anthony. Let us increase our devotion on God.
