That was Bentath town. Dommari Community (who does somersault on streets) was doing a performance there.

King was watching a their performance. Ilachi Kumar was walking on Bamboo Sticks. All the audiences were happy at the performance.

The King was watching the daughter of the proprietor of the group.

When the proprietor asked the king how was the performance, he told he has not watched the performance.

Second time the show was arranged. Audience clapped over the performance. This time he could not watch the programme as the king was in sleeping mood.

Third time the show was arranged. Audiences were enthralled. The Performer, Ilachi Kumar was watching a Beggar of Jain community taking alms from the distance.

The alms were given by a most beautiful lady, as if nothing bothers him, the beggar was taking the alms and gone.

Even the performer Illachi Kumar belongs to Jain Religion. Beggar didn’t turn his eyes on the most beautiful lady at all.

But being a son of a wealthy man, he was attracted to the beauty of the daughter of the Proprietor of the group.

The leader of that group has informed that, he would marry off his daughter to the one who gets the prize after waking on the Bamboo.

The performer, Ilachi Kumar left his family, parents, and wealth to marry that girl, to learn the art of waking on sticks.

What’s this? It was all due to worldly affairs only. He memorised those Virtuous Principles of Jain Religion.

He became expert in that field means that was the power of his soul he felt.

He felt that instead of using his power of soul to marry that girl he should use it for his welfare. This process of his thoughts happened within a very short period.

People were clapping over the performance. Illachi Kumar has got down from the rope.

He offered prostrations to everybody present there he took the welfare path by walking briskly.

“Only foolish wants worldly pleasures (possessions), but intellectuals would opt for welfare path’ said Shri Pratti Narayana Rao in the Life Story of Shri Sai Baba.

Here Illachi Kumar felt instead of marriage, the path to Knowledge would be useful.

Illachi Kumar’s time was before 24th Terthamkara.
