Vasudev Seetharam Rajanjankar of Hyderabad was a devotee of SAI BABA.
He has informed through a letter on August 18th, 1922 how SAI BABA blessed daughter of his Aunty in an unprecedented way.
Aunt’s daughter of Seetharam Ratanjankar, whose name was Maalan Bai was bedridden since a long time suffering with fever. Many doctors were consulted, various treatments were given. But no improvement observed
That girl’s position was similar to Bhimaji Patel who appeared in the 13th Chapter of Shri Sai Satcharitra.
There was one difference in the episode. Bhimaji Patel reached SAI BABA on hearing the miraculous powers of SAI BABA. Maalan Bai wanted to go to SAI BABA. As they could not do anything further, Doctors also agreed her to go to SAI BABA.
That girl reached Shirdi with two or three people to SAI BABA. SAI BABA scolded on seeing her. He even hit her once. SAI BABA made her to sleep on a Blanket and gave her only water. She was staying in Dixit Wada. She was with only water near about 7 to 8 days as ordered by SAI BABA.
No one can tell how much she has faith on SAI BABA that He would save her.
She left her body on one early morning. Everyone was in grief. That was day SAI BABA had sleft in Chavadi.
Everyone was ready for Kakad Arati after SAI BABA woke up. It was 8 in the morning. SAI BABA has not woken up.
Grief amongst people and were making arrangements for her last rites there.
Yawning and stretching her body Maalan Bai woke up and seen all the four sides with fear. She has relieved.
‘I feared when one black man was taking me. SAI BABA had beaten him and took me to this Chavadi’ told Maalan Bai to all.
She described the Chavadi as it was. Everybody was astonished. Why because Maalan Bai has not seen the Chavadi till then.
Suddenly Sai, woke up, screaming and waving Sataka, came to Dixit Wada where Malan Bai was.
Sai does not drown those who believe in him.
This is SAI BABA’s miracle. This has created astonishment.
May we have the devotion that Maalan Bai has on SAI BABA!
