Guru’s feet was kept by me! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 17th February

‘If My Guru’s image could not be seen by Me, I feel it would be better if I am blind’  SAI BABA used to say this while speaking about His Guru.

The Guru of Seetaaram Omkarnath was Daasharadhi Dev. To feel the touch of his Guru always, Seetaaram Omkarnath used to put the feet of his Guru on his Chest always.

Atchutananda has informed when Seetharam Omkarnath would come with his Devotees Group to Puri Jagannath Temple while chanting the Name of the God, about 400 years ago in one his writings.

The Divine Name or the Maha Mantra only would save this age, so that, that should be spread encouraged Seetharaam Omkarnath.

An Officer in India was his disciple. The whereabouts of that officer in the Battle could not be known.

As such, to say this his wife went to Seetharam Omkarnath. Without listening to her difficulty,

Seetharam Omkarnath asked her to ‘chant’ the name. The person known to her told her that do not think otherwise,

Seetharam Omkarnath knows everything. She has done the Name Chanting then. In the early hours the officer’s whereabouts could be known.

Is that that Devotee’s faith?

Is that Seetharam Omkarnath’s miracle?

Or else is that due to the power of Name Chanting?

Whatever they may be, the result would be the same.

A person by name Madhavaswamy, used to prepare Prasadam at Seetharam Omkarnath.

That Prasadam used to remain many times, then Madhavaswamy threw this into River Ganges.

On seeing this Seetharam Omkarnath told that ‘Much food was getting wasted’. Then Madhavaswamy asked Seetharam Omkarnath what could he do with that food?

Then Seetharam Omkarnath told him that ‘before preparing the food, ask me as to for how many people should the Prasad prepared’.

Every time Madhavaswamy used to ask Seetharam Omkarnath. He used to tell the number.

Visitors used to come more at times, less at times.  When the visitors were less, there was not an instance where the Prasad was left over.

When the visitors were more there was not an instance where the Prasad was insufficient.

That was the power of Sadguru’s word!

He started a Sadguru Traditional Organisation, & was born on February 17th, 1892.

Today was his birthday.

Let us remember him.
