Charity of Land Donation Service! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 18th April.

‘In food Charity one need not see the worthiness’ SAI BABA used to say.

Mother of Vinobha Bave used to provide charity to beggars who have come to her house.

She has given food Charity to a Strong Man once. ‘Is it worth it’ asked Vinobha Bave to his mother.

‘Vino! Do we have the power to ascertain the worthiness of a Person? Every one come to our house was himself a God’s Form only’ she told Vinobha Bave.

A boy used to come every week for a meal to her home. She used to give him a hottest Rotis on preparing them.

For Vinobha Bave she used to give the Rotis that were remaining previous night. He asked her for the reason.

‘Guest is himself a Narayan’s Form. Is it proper to give Narayana the food that was remaining after eating by us’ the mother replied to Vinobha Bhave.

She wanted give one lakh rice grains to God. ‘You count how many Rice Grains were required for a Tula and add some more to them’ advised her husband.

She asked her son.  ‘Mom! Do not link the number of Grains with mathematics. Those one lakh Rice Grains were the symbol for your devotion towards God.

Read one name each of God, allot each Grain to the God, so that you could keep the names of God in your heart.

God should be reflected in our every work’ said Vinobha Bhave. She followed the advice of his son.

Vinobha Bhave’s life itself has become Guiding Factor for others.

He used to observe Mandookyopanishat in the Cry of Frogs and he was such a Spiritual Person. Who will not cooperate with Vinobha Bhave, who wanted that universe should be developed for all?

He travelled by walk entire India. Vinobha Bhave arrived to the Village Called Pochampalle.

Several people have come there to have his Darshan. There are people who do not own even a cent land, or a feet place have also come to see him. There were land lords too.

There were forty families who are facing difficulty for livelihood. Ramachandra Reddy, a landlord there, donates 100 acres from his land.

Vinobha Bhave was very happy for his good heart.

He advised those forty families to take that land not individually, but as a group.

And he asked that land lord Ramachandra Reddy to provide them seeds freely. Ramachandra Reddy has agreed with happiness.

That day was April 18th, 1951. It was the Telugu Land that first seed for Vinobha Bhave’s land donation has taken place.

Today was April 18. Let us remember Vinobha Bhave. Let us practice that service to humanity is service to God.
