Result of Appearance; …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 18th September.

Jain religion considers Acharya Shanti Sagar jee as their first Acharya of the 20^th century. He has roamed the entire country.

He travelled without attire called Jain. While roaming the entire country

he never kept any articles such as vessels used as ascetics for taking water.

While feeling hungry, he used to take food with his hands only before the sunset only. Such was the legend he was.

Out of his 35 years Saint hood, he has fasted for 27years, 2 months and 23 days. SAI BABA not allowed the fasting.

His childhood name was Saatgouda. His parents were very divine people.

While he was in his mother’s pregnancy, her mother wanted to worship Jinendra with 1000 Lotus flowers.

Was it fulfilled? Once she has got the lotus flowers from Kolhapur. She worshipped the God with love.

He wanted to get saint hood at the age of his 17 or 18 years. As per his father’s instructions he has not done so.

He has taken the sainthood after his father’s death at the age of his 48. He was having non-violence as his breath.

While going to stools in the childhood, he used to take a Metal Vessel with water with him.

While coming back from the forest once, that Metal Vessel was dented. People asked him the reason.

He told that while coming one snake was coming to eat the frog, he does not want the frog to be eaten by the snake, he pressed the vessel on a stone, for that sound the snake has gone away.

He has taken the deeksha from Devendra Kireeti. He has developed spiritually in very limited time.

He wanted to become a naked saint. His Guru warned him several. The nakedness is not a physical process only, internally too one should be naked, he told.

He agreed for this and taken the deeksha. ‘I would leave my life, not the conditions of deeksha’ he has vowed.

On seeing him only, one would get the good deeds.

Once he was doing meditation at the Konnur Cage, one big snake has rolled him. Hundreds of people have witnessed this. After some time that snake has gone away.

Acharya Shanti Sagar does not know about this.

He has observed a tradition called Yama Sallekhana for 36 days, while only taking water; he left his body on September 18th, 1955.

Today is September 18^th, Acharya Shanti Sagar death anniversary. Let us remember him.
