You are the Mother! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 9th June.

SAI BABA used to be worshipped as SAI MAA. God would bless him, in whatever way he was worshipped.

Balananda Brahmachari’s previous name is Pitambaru! His father was Bansilal. He was a priest in Mahakaleshwar Temple at Ujjain. His Mother was Narmada Devi.

A thread ceremony was performed to Pitambaru. In spiritual pursuit at the age of nine years, he left home while searching for God. His father has passed away. Mother was worried about the son.

Brahmananda Maharaj of Gangonath near Baroda on seeing this boy he initiated him and named him as Balananda Brahmachari.

That boy reached Khereeghat. That was on the northern side of River Narmada.

After seeing the River Narmada, this boy started crying. Those surrounding him felt strange about this. One old lady has come to him and asked him why he was crying.

‘I do not have House and others. I do not require anything. I need only Narmada Mata’ the boy replied.

That lady consoled him and vanished. She was none other than Mata Narmada said Balananda.

Balananda was walking in Panchkouripuri forest. Suddenly one robber’s gang attacked them and took away everything they had.

Panchkoripuri used to take narcotic drug(Nalla Mandu) every day. Without taking it he could not walk.

That box containing the drug(Nalla Mandu) was taken away by the Robbers Gang. Balananda took him on his shoulders and walked in the forest.

How much time Balananda could carry the weight on his shoulders. He saw one packet in front of him. That was drug(Nalla Mandu).

Immediately he gave that medicine to Puri. Puri started walking briskly that day.

Next day also a packet containing drug (Nalla Mandu) appeared for that day. Similarly he got the packets of drug for the entire days while he was walking in the forest.

After crossing the forest they reached a town. Drug packet was not available for Balananda. Who else could give the narcotic drug (Nalla Mandu) packets in the forest except Mata Narmada told Balananda.

Balananda starnded in forest. He felt bad about reaching the destination. One shepherd lady was going in that way with a basket on her head;

He followed her and reached the village. That shepherd was none other than Narmada Devi.

After waiting 60 long years for her son, Balananda’s mother reached and met him. She happily passed away in her son’s presence, his mother Narmada Mata.

Balananda completed 50 parikramas around the River Narmada.

He left his body on June 9th, 1937. Today is 9th June, Balananda’s death anniversary.

Let us remember Balananda and River Narmada.
